Issue #13: The Sun, the Sweep, and the Zingone Bros Cat

Good morning, West Siders. We're the neighbor who mapped every sports bar on the west side, got you a private Raphael viewing before the museum opens, and reminds you the World Cup lottery closes tomorrow. Manhattanhenge, tonight, 8:13 PM. After that, we've got ballerinas, bobbleheads, and a $10,000 lightbulb the city still hasn't screwed in. Let's go. (Westward.)

Issue #11: Gold Medals, Gold Stars, and the Sturgeon King

Good morning, West Siders. We're the neighbor who knows which restaurants the New York Times loves and which ones it ghosted. Jesse Owens's Olympic gold is at AMNH. The Knicks swept Philly. There are two comedy clubs three blocks apart running six shows each this weekend, fresh sand hitting the playgrounds, and a circus at Lincoln Center. And May is Bike Month, which on the UWS means everyone's a cyclist, a critic, or both. Scroll to the bottom for a live music hot list you can walk to. Grab your morning beverage. Let's go.

🍜 UWS Outdoor Dining, NYT 100 + Where to Watch the 🏀 Knicks — One Map

We mapped 101+ UWS outdoor dining spots. Then the New York Times released their 100 Best Restaurants in NYC — with Jean-Georges at #5, Tatiana at #12, and Barney Greengrass at #92 representing our neighborhood. So we layered every Manhattan restaurant from the list onto the map. Outdoor dining pins by cuisine. Neon stars for NYT 100 bragging rights. *NEW 🏀 for watching the Knicks on the Upper West Side. Outdoor dining season runs April 1 through November 29. Full city program at diningoutnyc.info.

Issue #4: Snow in Spring, Lions on Fire

Good morning, West Siders. We're the neighbor who knows your playground is up for a national award, your basketball team is on a tear, and spring just showed up on 89th Street. Welcome back to Issue #4. If you're new here, someone forwarded this to you and they were right to. We've tripled in three weeks. No ads, no algorithm, just neighbors. Let's go. P.S. Scroll to Something to Chew On. Your playground needs your vote.🕯️ Next Wednesday evening is the first night of Passover. Chag Sameach to those who celebrate!
